Regional Sales Manager

We are currently hiring a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to join our team. This position will be responsible for driving sales to both new and existing customers in Mexico and Latin America. The RSM will focus on maximizing sales volume, profitability, and revenue potential for existing and new products through developing and maintaining strong customer relationships and identifying and closing new business opportunities. The RSM is responsible for managing sales forecast, reports, market activity, and other relevant data for the assigned region. This position reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

**Experience in the hydraulic and/or fluid power industry strongly preferred.

**Experience selling an engineered product strongly preferred.

** Experience in selling to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) strongly preferred.

What You'll Do



  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team to identify both short- and long-term strategic goals to drive sales growth within the region.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships at all levels within the customer base. Own the overall relationship between Custom Hoists and its customers.
  • Business Development: Manage existing accounts while proactively identifying and pursuing a strong sales pipeline of new opportunities within the region.
  • Market Penetration: Drive sales growth within existing customer base. Develop and execute call plans to grow sales in existing and new markets.
  • Product Promotion: Advocate the value of Custom Hoists products and system solutions to OEMs and distributors.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure the Custom Hoists image is consistently represented across all product lines, promotional materials, and events.


  • Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about competitors' products, sales strategies, and quality initiatives.


  • Industry Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with key industry influencers and strategic partners.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Develop accurate sales forecast and track performance within the assigned region. Maintain up-to-date logs of customer activity and opportunities within the Sales database tool.



What You'll Bring



  • 5+ years of Sales Leadership experience in the fluid power or related industry.
  • 8+ years field sales experience and territory management; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required
  • Bi-Lingual fluency - English & Spanish
  • Expected travel time, 30% minimum
  • Access to major city airport with connections to Mexico



What We Value



  • MBA or advanced degree in related field preferred.


  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and fluid power products.
  • Experience in selling engineered products and working with OEMs.
  • In-depth understanding of sales techniques, competitor products, and financial principles.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build effective, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage resources and relationships effectively.
  • Ability to lead both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
