Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Enterprise Architect with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Alpharetta, GA (On site)

Responsibilities:

* Lead the design and development of scalable and robust microservices architecture using Springboot and Java Design Patterns.

* Oversee the implementation of enterprise-level solutions on Microsoft Azure to ensure high availability and performance.

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team to ensure best practices in coding and design.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.

* Develop and maintain architectural documentation including design patterns, standards, and guidelines.

* Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to architectural standards.

* Ensure seamless integration of microservices with existing systems and third-party services.

* Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks and issues.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the architecture and development processes.

* Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in all architectural and development activities.

* Participate in strategic planning and decision-making to align technology solutions with business goals.

* Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance the overall system architecture.

* Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications:

* 10 to 14 years of experience in enterprise architecture and solution architecture.

* Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure and its various services.

* Expertise in Springboot, Microservices, and Java Design Patterns.

* Proven track record as an Enterprise Architect and Java Solution Architect.

* Experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management and its unique challenges.

* Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

* Adept at mentoring and guiding development teams.

* Proactive approach to learning and staying current with industry trends.

* Commitment to quality and attention to detail.

* Experience in developing and maintaining architectural documentation.

* Capable of conducting thorough code reviews and providing constructive feedback.

* Strong organizational and time management skills.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
