Enterprise Business Development Executive

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Enterprise Business Development Executive role is to acquire new large clients in a defined regional market. This position is primarily focused on identifying, engaging and closing new business opportunities with large organizations that demonstrate substantial revenue potential and ongoing business activity.

Responsibilities:




  • Develop a strategic business plan to attack the assigned market using both account lists as well as other business intelligence.



  • Establish relationships with top tier level clients in assigned markets, calling on them to create selling opportunities to displace competitive organizations and gain net new business.



  • Adhering to an established sales process, along with strong documentation and communication.



  • Partner with branch level Major Account and Territorial Account Executives in a collaborative partnership during the sales cycle and post-sale to transition on-going account management.



  • Partner with GFC strategic pricing team to create competitive offerings required to displace incumbent providers.



  • Provide thought leadership to others at GFC regarding the various steps in the sales process.



  • Drive activity throughout the regional market to ensure new clients and take ownership of pursing new business




Requirements




  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of B2B outside sales experience, selling technology solutions to medium and large organizations.



  • Must have existing skills and experience in gaining access to decision makers and navigating complex buying cycles found in clients at this level.



  • Must be willing to work exclusively in a new-business generation and be rewarded for their production in closing on net-new business.



  • Must be able to work collaboratively with other members of the sales team during and after sales process.



  • Motivated by competition.



  • Must be able to work independently at times, with little or no direct supervision.



  • Must be comfortable with the use of business intelligence and sales support technology.



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent comparable experience required.



  • Willing to travel to regional markets.




Preferred Qualifications




  • Prior experience in an exclusively new-business generation role.



  • Prior experience in the Office Technology industry.
