RECRUITING NURSING FACULTY FOR TENURE-TRACK APPOINTMENTS The University of Iowa College of Nursing is seeking a faculty member eligible for a tenure-track assistant professor position. As a leading research institution, we are well-equipped to support candidates who are developing programs of research and who can effectively contribute to the teaching needs of the college. Priority will be given to applicants with expertise in:
- Women's Health
- Pediatrics/Child/Neonatal Health
- Psychiatric/Mental Health
About the College of Nursing As a leader in nursing education, research, and practice innovations, the UI College of Nursing has received national recognition by U.S. News & World Report, ranking six of its graduate programs in the top 20 in the nation (in comparison to all public and private schools) with the DNP ranked #22 overall. Our BSN program is currently ranked Number 4 in the nation according to US News and World Report. We recently launched an MSN-entry into practice program. Education Requirement: |
- Earned doctorate in nursing or doctorate in a related field
|
Required Qualifications: |
- Promise of ability as a teacher.
- Promise of scholarly productivity, supported by publications or the equivalent.
- Be present in person at College of Nursing on the University of Iowa campus.
- If have degree in nursing, must be licensed as registered nurse and eligible and have ability to obtain licensure in state of Iowa.
