Accounting Manager (Remote)

Team Size: 3 members (2 Sr. Accountants and 1 Treasurer) - 2 in Dublin, one in the US

Overview:

Hunter Hamilton is assisting our well-known, global sister company to bring on an Accounting Manager to support the Global Accounting team. They are the number one job board, and this team strives to fulfill their company mission, "We Help Make Your Workplace Awesome." This person will be the manager's right-hand person, assisting in both inter-company and treasury functions (with more time spent on inter-company accounting). Stakeholder management is very important and a key skill for this position.

Day to day Duties:

- Lead month end/quarter end close management & variance analysis

- Project manage and support team members; provide direction to team members and facilitate project goals

- Responsible for balance sheet reviews & account reconciliations

- Responsible for approving journals and balance sheet racks

- Responsible for key accounting information at quarter end to key stakeholders

- Develop & main consistent global processes

- Attends meetings on behalf of the team (typically early morning calls, since many team members are located in Ireland)

- Deal with complex accounting transactions & partner with stakeholders to ensure correct treatment

- Key partner to FP&A Reporting, Tax, Legal and Treasury & Compliance

- Deal with audit requests

Skills/Competencies:

- Looking for someone with experience in the Intercompany & Treasury areas of an accounting team

- A self starter and excellent problem solving abilities

- Track record of working autonomously with limited direction and guidance

- Excellent ability to manage stakeholder relationship management

- Relationship building skills within a global organization (this person will be working with other teams outside of Finance: tax, legal, treasury, reporting team in the U.S., and parent company in Japan)
