Job Responsibilities
As the Regional Sales Manager - Volume Graphics, US East, you will drive the growth and success of the Hexagon Volume Graphics product suite. This includes achieving revenue targets, managing customer relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of world-class solutions and customer satisfaction.The role involves working closely with Application Engineers, Software Development, Support, Service and Order Entry, to ensure that we offer a best-in-class customer experience. The Regional Sales Manager maintains a high standard and provides leadership in the areas of product knowledge, demonstration capabilities, sales professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve and exceed annual revenue goals for the assigned territory.
- Conduct software demonstrations for prospective and existing customers.
- Primarily focus on direct sales while leveraging OEM and reseller channels to maximize revenue.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM for managing opportunities, pipelines, and customer data.
- Identify and pursue additional sales opportunities beyond traditional channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Applications Engineers, Marketing, Inside Sales, and Training, to close sales effectively.
- Provide market feedback to the development team for product innovation and enhancement.
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales cycle and ensure exceptional post-sale support.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Minimum 3 years of proven success in field sales.
- Passion for building a long-term career in technical sales.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory (50% travel required).
- US Citizenship, Green Card or work authorization due to role requirements.
Nice-to-Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related experience.
- Experience with CT X-Ray theory or operation and VGSTUDIO MAX or similar metrology software.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software.
- Completion of formal sales training programs.
- Experience in software and/or technical solutions sales.
- Residency in one of the preferred locations: CT, MA, MI, IL, OH, NY, NJ, or PA.
- A strong affinity for technology and an ability to embrace advanced technical concepts quickly.
