MetroStar is seeking a results-driven Sr. Scrum Master/Deputy Program Manager to lead Agile delivery efforts, manage a roadmap, and prioritize backlogs to ensure the efficient delivery of value across technical functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with Agile tools to track priorities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact results. Familiarity with Army networking is a significant advantage. This dual role, Deputy Program Manager and Sr. Scrum Master, will be a part of the Program Management Team, providing leadership and support to the agile teams as well as partner with the Program Manager on a variety of program management tasks.

What you'll do:



  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies to ensure team alignment and continuous progress toward sprint goals.
  • Update and prioritize the product backlog, working closely with product owners and technical leads.
  • Create and maintain dashboards to track team performance, velocity, and sprint health.
  • Collaborate across technical functions to align deliverables with strategic objectives.
  • Identify and address roadblocks, risks, and dependencies that may impact project delivery.
  • Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile best practices to enhance collaboration and productivity.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and progress to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, tools, and team performance.


What you'll need to succeed:



  • An active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile practitioner managing roadmaps and backlogs.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of project and/or program management experience.
  • Proven experience with tools like Jira, GitLab, or similar project management platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
  • Proficiency in creating dashboards, reports, and performance visualizations using Agile tools.
  • Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple teams and priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and impediments to delivery.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on metrics-driven decision-making.
