Summary: The VP of Enterprise Applications (EA) will provide technology vision and leadership for the strategy and management of all company platforms including M365, ERP, CRM, Banking Core and Core related systems along with Data Management & Analytics (DMA).The VP of EA will provide leadership and expertise in systems architect, analyzing business requirements, developing application initiatives, developing DMA initiatives, and managing a growing backlog of tasks for the application and DMA teams. This role will be charged with helping to build applications technology and DMA organization focused on delivering state-of-the-art technology solutions that drive strategic value to the bank.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Lead and manage the Applications and DMA teams through changing work requirements and priorities, deadlines, operational incident management, as well as being able to keep pace with multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Develop a 3-year roadmap for all key systems that align with the banks strategic plan.
  • Lead and deliver complex software projects to business specifications on time and within budget.
  • Drive communication consensus with key internal and external customers, ELT, and Board regarding applications.
  • Make decisions regarding the selection of new tools and technologies, adopting a strategic approach that aligns with the long-term roadmap.
  • Ensure support teams follow the best practices and agile methodologies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to application development, delivery, and operations.
  • Implement strategies to ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Establish and implement quality assurance and testing processes to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
  • Lead the establishment and continual improvement of application performance metrics to measure health and status of critical systems.
  • Implement policies and procedures to analyze system performance, ensure operational effectiveness, and drive continuous process improvement.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions across the enterprise.
  • Centralize corporate applications over time based on a strategic alignment.
  • Lead and manage the Applications and DMA teams through changing work requirements and priorities, deadlines, operational incident management, as well as being able to keep pace with multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Completes all yearly compliance training and testing and complies with bank, federal, and state regulations. Complies with Bank Policies and Procedures. Adheres to departmental and bank-wide service standards.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree. Master's degree preferred.8-10 years of demonstratable experience in an application leadership role. Minimum of 5 years' experience managing a diverse and large applications team.

Skills needed:

* Experience in managing Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Flexi ERP, Creatio CRM, Banking Core and Core related systems.

* Transformational and consolidation experience a strong plus.

* Strong leadership and management skills.

* Ability to interface with the engineering teams and broader business alike to align business priorities with technical initiatives.

* Experience managing development partners and support teams.

* Experience developing and managing data warehouse technologies.

* Software architecture background with various systems: reporting, finance, databases, custom applications etc.

* Has a cloud-first approach, background in cloud architecture and modernization applications by migrating from on-prem to cloud.

* Read, analyze, and interpret general IT instruction, applications, or business periodicals

* Develop reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers and potentially clients and customers

* Write and follow procedures to make sure tasks are completed correctly

* Ability to troubleshoot and work with local and remote users to successfully resolve issues

Certifications, Licenses and/or registrations:

ITIL Foundation Certification, Project Management (PMP), Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) preferred.

The associate may work offsite at community, financial
education and bank-at-work events several times a year and occasionally makes
business calls with the Banking Center Manager. Heavy volume during peak
times, including the first and third of each month.
