Overview:

Our client is at the forefront of innovation, delivering cutting-edge test automation application platform focusing on Mobility Core and IMS core. We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the end-to-end voice core test automation architecture, solution. The goal is to advance product excellence and engineering productivity.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

* Lead the design, development, and deployment of the integration of complex automation frameworks for validating VoNR, VoLTE and VoIP calls

* Develop and integrate REST APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different tools

* Proven record with VoIP signaling and data plane protocols, esp. SIP, RTP, RTCP, interfaces in IMS core

* Lead/support technology evolution between different hardware and software upgrade and support migration to new generation of technology

* Build a test-driven engineering culture that drives improvements in quality.

* Implement best practices in the software development lifecycle, DevOps methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.

* Ensure timely project execution with high quality

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and performance.

* Design and deploy applications using microservice, and containerization architectures.

* Implement robust security measures to protect applications and data from threats and vulnerabilities.

* Work with engineers and project leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution.

* Partner with other peer teams to leverage common systems for better reliability and scalability.

* Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression tests to prevent reoccurrences.

* Troubleshoot and develop long-term solutions for technical problems in collaboration with cross-function teams

* Actively participate in onshore and offshore team activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related engineering discipline

* 5 years of experience in a test automation/integration engineering role

* 5 years of experience with Azure and containerized applications

* Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, shell programming

* Advanced knowledge on 3GPP Packet Core and IMS platform architecture and protocols, such as SIP, Diameter, etc.

* In-depth understanding of end-to-end VoNR, VoLTE, SMS, MSRP, RTT call flows

* Familiar with architecting, designing and deploying mobility/IMS network platforms and services

* Proven knowledge of end-to-end system performance and cross layer integration involving UE, RAN, mobility core network, IMS core and applications

* Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in design, testing and deployment of Network Functions on different cloud and virtualization technologies like OpenStack as well as Containerization and Kubernetes

* Hands-on experience in building test automation tools to enable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Ansible

* Ability to solve complex, critical problems related to significant and unique issues using critical thinking.
