Position: Recruiter, Human Resources (3-month Temporary position)

Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
On-Site 2 Days a Week (First two weeks on-site 4 Days a Week).

Travel: Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in Human Resources/Recruiting field.
  • Knowledge of ADP - Workforce Now.
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Masters Degree in Human Resources, Preferred.

Major Challenges and Key Decisions:

  • This position requires a high level of independent thinking, problem solving and requires decisions to be made daily that will keep the company in compliance with federal and state laws and protect the company from unnecessary litigation.
  • It also requires decisions to be made that will maintain a workforce that is motivated, productive, maintain high retention levels and free from union organization.


Employment, Recruiting and Retention:

  • Recruiting - manage recruitment process from entry level through senior level management (internal and external) and experience in recruiting life cycle. Work with management and guide them through best actions to take, keeping in mind EEO laws.
  • Handle new hire orientation, onboarding, I-9's, background checks and drug screening.

Responsible for managing day-to-day recruitment function including but not limited to:

  • Partner with hiring managers to build overall recruiting strategy: understand the needs of hiring managers and sourcing the best talent to fill open positions.
  • Continuously partner with recruiting team and managers to design, refine and implement innovative recruiting and social media strategies.
  • Stay active with current job boards, social networks and platforms to find talent.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Manage intake meetings with hiring managers independently and determine candidate needs for each open position.
  • Work independently to identify appropriate candidates for each opening and determine appropriate fits for interview.
