Our Facility in Tulsa, OK manufactures state-of- art
circuit boards for Aerospace and Defense.
Job Summary & Essential Functions:
Participate with
the electrical and/or mechanical design input to the engineering department,
including bid proposals.
- Develop product tools, test fixtures, and error proofing devices.
- Support product startup and continuous improvement efforts through
Lean Manufacturing - Ability to analyze and generate models using 3D CADD software a
plus - Assist in developing product information and work instructions
- Collaborate with purchasing, production, quality and outside
suppliers to set and meet schedules to accommodate customer requirements - Assist with the component, process and sustaining engineering
function on assigned projects - Support facility and corporate strategic goals
- Responsible for the proper
handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area. - Perform other assignments as required
Skills & Qualifications
Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the outlined experience level, education, training, minimum years of experience, product or industry knowledge plus any certifications in order to be considered.
- Sixty-(60) hours of course work towards BS or BA in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology or technical equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of engineering concepts, physics, and chemistry principles
- Knowledge of basic manufacturing test processes
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Proficient in technical writing, good documentation skills; attention to detail is critical
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Prior experience with an ISO environments is a plus
- Demonstrated analytical expertise including ability to plan, resolve problems effectively, and establish priorities
- Understanding of DOE, 6-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing desired
- Working knowledge at an intermediate level of computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Microsoft Project
- Ability to communicate with customers and project company image to attract business
- Flexible with high energy, able to handle multiple tasks smoothly
