Equity Compensation Analyst

BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

Reporting to the Senior Director, Compensation, the Equity Compensation Analyst will support Charter's compensation function by administrating equity plans and programs and assisting with Executive Compensation matters and projects. This role focuses on the day-to-day management of Company stock and equity plans, covering tasks such as recordkeeping, reporting, compliance, and reconciliation. The analyst will collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Accounting, Legal and other relevant teams on equity program matters. The position also involves close coordination with Charter's third-party equity administration vendor to handle equity administration responsibilities.

WHAT OUR SENIOR EQUITY COMPENSATION ANALYSTS ENJOY MOST

As an Equity Comepnsation Analyst, you will:

Support the daily administration of Charter's equity programs, including semi-annual enrollments and purchases, participant data management, new grant issuance, and the processing of vesting and cancellations. Ensure accurate employee equity information in relevant systems and perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal and any third-party service providers.

Monitor the equity administration mailbox to address participant inquiries about the company's equity programs. Ensure clear communication and education on equity offerings for participants at all levels and contribute to employee trainings and communications.

Collaborate with team members and stakeholders (including Legal, Accounting, Finance, Payroll, HRT and Tax) to address information requests and develop process improvements. Provide support to leadership on equity-related analysis and modeling to align with business objectives and initiatives. Contribute to the Compensation team's broader projects, such as compensation benchmarking and analysis, developing reports and recommendations, and drafting offer letters.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Proficient in verbal and written communication

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Intermediate knowledge of project management and equity program designs and mechanics

Capable of documenting complex processes and procedures

Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks while handling multiple matters

Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Human Resources, Business, related field or equivalent experience

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
2+ years of experience in Compensation, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis or other related experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Knowledge of executive and equity compensation programs

Knowledge of accounting, tax and/or payroll functions as it relates to executive compensation

Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Equity plan administration experience
