Summary of Position: The Health Outcomes Researcher is essential for providing deep insights into human behavior, experiences, and interactions within the healthcare system and associated interventions, ultimately contributing to the development of effective strategies and policies to improve health. The Health Outcomes Researcher will consult on various projects across the Center for Learning Health System Sciences, providing advanced analytical and technical skills for furthering health services research findings and associated clinical implementations. The ideal candidate for this position will be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in data collection and analysis; ethically minded; collaborative with various stakeholders, and adaptable to handle multiple projects and adapt to changing research needs. Problems encountered are varied and typically involve integrative solutions and substantial planning to align resources, technologies and processes to resolve. Decisions are guided by understanding best practices and thinking creatively when no alternative is available. Responsible for daily operational decisions. Duties/Responsibilities: 75%: Conduct health outcomes research
15%: Dissemination of research results
10%: CLHSS Research Operations
Work Arrangements: This position follows UMN Work. With Flexibility. guidelines. Currently, the position will be primarily working from home. There may be occasional needs to be on campus and over time there may be a need to set a regular schedule for a few days on campus each week. Work hours should follow a regular schedule between 7-5, M-F. Qualifications

The Center for Learning Health System Sciences is a one-of-a-kind partnership between the Medical School and School of Public Health with a goal to decrease the time it takes for science to make it from the lab to the clinic in pursuit of better health outcomes for the patients we serve. CLHSS is composed of a core and five programs spanning the data-knowledge-practice LHS lifecycle including evidence synthesis, pragmatic trials, digital health, and data democratization and model development.
