Regional Parts Manager

Job Description:

This role will work as a member of our Regional Parts team to promote and support the Materials Processing Spare Parts business in North America. In order to help strengthen business relations with our dealer network, the successful candidate will be expected to spend time both in the field and office based.

Responsibilities:

  • Support dealers in understanding spare parts support processes and support systems available e.g. On-line parts manuals and ordering
  • Assist dealers in calculating potential spare parts business based upon dealers' machine park etc. - type of machines, working conditions and working hours
  • Prepare parts Quotations
  • Measure and monitor annual AOP (Budget) Plans
  • Understand dealer market conditions and potential issues and make corrective action plans to assist dealer in overcoming
  • Work with dealers to educate them on the benefits of holding inventory
  • Collect market price information for spare parts and feed into pricing team
  • Oversee any back-order issues and develop a solution to support dealer
  • Promote product support agenda and service kit development
  • Provide a monthly management report listing visits and risks/opportunities.
  • Effectively promote parts programs to drive global awareness to our dealers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • GED or Diploma
  • Minimum of 2years of administrative experience in office setting
  • Experience in sales-based organization
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong time management skills
  • Must be able to organize work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A college degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and two years of demonstrated professional experience may be substituted
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be high energy and motivated to do what is required to meet business deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work across functional areas and levels of management
  • Effective verbal and listening communication skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • The individual must maintain strict confidentiality in performing the duties of the sales, marketing and office information.

  • Ability to develop a working knowledge of Company products, goods and materials sold to dealer networks.

  • Must show courtesy to co-workers, customers, relatives of employees, and others with whom contact occurs.

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ Years Aftermarket sales or sales support experience in heavy equipment industry
  • 3rd Level qualification in Business or relevant management experience
  • Demonstrate the ability to define, implement and maintain action plans
  • Demonstrate high level of analytical ability with proficient knowledge of MS Office packages
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build solid working relationships within the company and throughout a global dealer network.
  • Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Communication and collaboration skills with the ability to develop relationships across levels, geographies and segments

Travel:

  • Willingness and ability to travel - up to 50%.
  • Valid passport for travel overseas
  • Valid driver's license

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
