Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Orlando, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • As a member of the client customs team, the individual will guide US Customs processes and facilitate transactional support for US imports and exports.
  • Prepare and submit clearance instructions to customs brokers while ensuring compliance with US import and internal requirements.
  • Work with various importing requirements, such as FDA, EPA, AD/CVD, Section 201, 301, 232, quotas, and Free Trade Agreements.
  • Monitor U.S. imports to ensure timely clearance and resolve problems.
  • Ensure full compliance for export transactions, including reviewing export documentation, filing Electronic Export Information, and maintaining records.
  • Interface with customs brokers, internal departments, and suppliers to obtain needed information and ensure consistency with defined import and export processes.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $45.00 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week. (1st shift).

Length: Contract (12 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in direct US import and export.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in reviewing, preparing, and processing import entries and export shipments.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in US Customs regulations, US Tariff database, General Rules of Interpretation, and customs brokerage activities.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in trade preferences (such as USMCA), duty minimizing programs (such as US Goods Returned), and valuation regulations.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Good interpersonal attributes, including high ethical standards, organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and teamwork.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Good skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; PowerPoint.
