Duties and Responsibilities |
The Senior HR Generalist - Talent Acquisition role will assist and support in the administrative function of recruitment and onboarding for the Talent Acquisition function for Loyola University. The Senior HR Generalist - Talent Acquisition will also promote the organization's Jesuit mission and traditions while ensuring consistent customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
Attracting & Sourcing: Leverage Loyola's brand recognition with an emphasis on our Jesuit tradition, values, and mission to attract highly talented and qualified job candidates. Assist hiring managers with job description development, job posting, resume sourcing through the use of job boards, social media, and professional networks to source potential candidates. Any other initiative as requested and assigned.
Interviewing: Guide hiring managers, HR Managers, and candidates through the interview process by providing effective 360 communication, and thorough, timely follow up as assigned and requested.
Hiring: Assist in the selection of top talent using Loyola's mission-based values as guiding principles to select the best candidates for all open job requisitions for Loyola. Provide hiring managers support with recruitment initiatives including the use of tools and resources needed.
Onboarding- Initiate and facilitate new hire onboarding processes. This includes partnering with HR Managers and hiring managers on candidate selection as requested and creating and sending offer letters for job candidates. Assist with all components of new hire onboarding, including I9 completion on the first day of employment as requested or assigned.
The Senior HR Generalist will also:
Provide guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees on Human Resource policies and Talent Acquisition procedures as necessary.
Participate in group projects/ project work both within the HR department and larger cross functional university initiatives as requested and assigned.
Craft written communications on behalf of the HR department. This includes drafting, reviewing, and obtaining approval for the release of campus wide HR department messages and mailings as requested and assigned. Assist with the facilitation of HR team and /or divisional meetings, content and logistics as requested.
Provide excellent customer service to all HR customers that the Senior HR Generalist - Talent Acquisition engages with. Ensure hiring managers are satisfied with the level of support and guidance they have receive throughout their interactions with HR.
All other general HR department administrative duties as requested or assigned. |
