This position will report within the DRiV business group. DRiV is Tenneco's aftermarket product solutions group, with a mission to deliver advancements that help people get the most out of every vehicle, every ride, every race, and every journey. This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Pricing, Purchasing, Marketing, and Network Planning to bring DRiV's Ignition Products to market. This job will require exceptional communication skills, planning skills and having the ability to work independently to deliver results against the budget while exercising sound judgment where clear guidelines may not exist.

The ideal candidate must have a high degree of autonomy with the ability to navigate problems and develop solutions to keep the new product introduction plan on track against the monthly budget. This individual must be proficient at influencing cross-functionally and delivering results. This individual must have the ability to develop and execute processes, track progress across a large portfolio of new product introductions to communicate forecasted results against budget and escalate risks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Initiate new product introduction requests in the planning system and define key milestones based on prioritization ranking.
  • Track progress and phase status of new product introductions against key milestones, influence cross-functional teams to execute responsibilities against the timeline, identify potential risks and/or delays and drive actions to mitigate delays.
  • Notify key functions of new product introductions, including Marketing, Pricing, Purchasing, Catalog and Sales teams.
  • Complete interchanges, load sheets and other key launch activities for new product introductions.
  • Forecast monthly new product introductions in SKUs and revenue against budget.
  • Define root cause and corrective actions when delays against budget are identified, escalate into weekly leadership updates.
  • Enhance new product introduction processes to increase speed to market and keep cross-functional teams informed of updates and changes.



Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience: 6+ years of work experience within Engineering, Product Management, Project Management or Strategy.

Skills:



  • Excellent project management, process design, and overall communication skills.
  • Experience owning/driving projects to completion.
  • Strong collaboration ability with Engineering and Business functions.
  • Proficiency with systems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, critical-thinking and time management skills.
  • Experience with Engine or Ignition is a plus.
  • Experience with Automotive Aftermarket is a plus
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across functions.
  • Passion for launching new products.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments and overcome challenges with a high degree of flexibility and professionalism.
  • Travel domestic and international up to 10%.
