What you'll do:

  • Provide cradle-to-grave contract administration expertise primarily supporting Gartner's State and Local Government business. Manage day-to-day contract activities, advising on strategic direction and interpreting contract terms.

  • Completes required representation and certifications and other contractual forms as needed.

  • Reviews and executes administrative, pricing, and product modifications.

  • Reviews and interprets contracts and contract modifications to ensure that prices, delivery schedule, specifications and terms and conditions are consistent with those proposed.

  • Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, renewals, amendments, etc.

  • Build trusted collaborative relationships with Government procurement and contracting partners. Serve as the primary point of contact between Gartner and Government clients.

  • Provides initial review of RFPs, RFQs and similar documents and coordinates Gartner response.

  • Disseminates documentation for review and response by responsible teams within Gartner and follows-up to ensure responses are accurate and timely.

  • Provides initial review of contract terms and conditions and works with legal counsel regarding contract questions and negotiation strategies.

  • Reviews and manages Gartner's contractual obligations and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.

  • Prepares usage/sales volume reports, ensures timely payment of administrative fees maintains.

  • Coordinates the timely and accurate input of contract documents and data into appropriate databases and systems.

  • Acts as the primary contact between research sales/consulting and Legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.

  • Coordinates processing of FOIA, Public Record and Sunshine Law Requests.

What you'll need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • 3-5 years of contracts management experience

  • State and local government experience a plus

  • Strong ability to influence others.

  • Willingness to assume further responsibility and be adaptable within the role.

  • Work autonomously and collaboratively.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where there is a constant sense of urgency

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 70,000 USD - 97,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
