POSITION TITLE

Senior MPS Specialist - Maintenance Excellence

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Corporate Sr MPS Specialist is responsible for driving initiatives and implementing strategies related to the Planned Maintenance methodology of the Milliken Performance System operating system.

Reports to: Vice President, Corporate Milliken Performance System

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with MPS Steering Committee on strategic direction and deployment of the Planned Maintenance methodology

• Establish and implement minimum process standards through Corporate MPS policies

• Internal consulting and thought partnership of methodology or approach for Milliken associates

• Teaching and design of courses to support MPS strategy

• Collaborate with Corporate MPS function to support Operational Excellence Enabler strategy

• Project management of assigned projects

• Development and support of Maintenance Excellence community across Milliken

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

This position requires candidates to be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for a work visa (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.).

• Application experience and working knowledge of the Milliken Performance System, or similar Operating System

• Demonstrated ability to teach, coach and mentor individuals and project teams

• Applicable experience to leading and implementing Maintenance Excellence programs

• Advanced software skills using Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and SharePoint

• BS in Engineering, or similar field

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing

• 3-5 years of experience as a Performance Solutions by Milliken Practitioner, MPS Specialist or similar role

• Ability to work a hybrid schedule based at RMC, with flexibility to work as required by internal client needs

QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED

• Milliken Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent, Black Belt strongly preferred
