As a member of the Supply Chain Management team at Systems Control, you will provide inventory control, customer service and administrative support. The Inventory Coordinator will be a high integrity individual who is adaptable and is a team player. A Day In The Life

  • Coordinate cycle counts maintaining an accurate inventory throughout the year
  • Investigate cycle count inventory variances
  • Report both low-stock and surplus inventory on a routine basis
  • Complete material transactions as needed
  • Check and adjust material transaction processes in Production to ensure standard work in followed
  • Collaborate with all warehouse employees establishing shared metrics to drive improvement
  • Support annual physical inventory with accounting department
  • Supports Inventory Specialist and Inventory Control Manager as needed

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • High school diploma with 2+ years' experience
  • Two years' experience with inventory, manufacturing and/or accounting
  • Effective and clear communication skills, verbal and written; strong listening skills
  • Strong analytical skills and proven problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and collaborate with other departments
  • Must be detail orientated and have strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Syteline and Workbench
  • Knowledge of lean principles; Lean thinker who looks for process improvement opportunities
