Responsibilities

MTSI is seeking a Mid-Career All-Source Intelligence Analyst to provide Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) support to the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). This position is located in the Dayton, OH area.

  • Performs all-source analysis to provide predictive and actionable intelligence.
  • Assesses the capabilities, limitations, and vulnerabilities of foreign long-range, land-based ballistic missiles, and their associated operations, ground support equipment (GSE) and facilities.
  • Coordinates with senior leadership to develop analysis plans that address Key Intelligence Questions (KIQ).
  • Reports progress, seeks feedback, and submits products for review.
  • Authors Finished Intelligence (FINTEL) reports.
  • Supports briefings, tours, ad-hoc tasks, working groups, conferences, and other relevant forums, as required.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Strong research and technical writing skills.
  • Experience conducting research on a wide variety of topics, to render concise analytic conclusions.
  • Familiarity working with agencies and partners of the Department of Defense (DoD) and/or the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Ability to work independently planning, coordinating, and executing work, at times with little oversight and guidance, as part of a larger team comprised of civilian and military personnel.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledgeable in Intelligence Community (IC) analytic standards and publishing workflows.
  • Familiarity or working knowledge of the six basic intelligence sources, or collection disciplines: SIGINT, IMINT, MASINT, HUMINT, OSINT, and GEOINT.
  • Basic understanding of manned and unmanned aircraft, operations, sub-systems, and employment techniques.
  • Understanding of foreign and/or domestic weapons systems.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience directly related to the above responsibilities.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in relevant discipline or a Master's degree plus 10+ years of job-related experience.
