We are hiring a Director of IT Applications!! This position can work remotely, but must be willing to come into office in Neenah WI, as needed. The Director of IT Applications is responsible for leading the strategy, development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's application portfolio. This role ensures that application systems are aligned with business objectives, scalable to meet future needs, and compliant with enterprise standards. The Director of Applications collaborates across departments to deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency, improve user experiences, and drive business value. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: ?
- Develop and execute the organization's application strategy in alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to recommend and implement innovative application solutions.
- Create and maintain a roadmap for the application portfolio, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of application developers, analysts, and administrators.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the applications team.
- Manage resource allocation to prioritize projects and ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee the design, development, implementation, and support of business-critical applications.
- Establish and enforce best practices for software development lifecycle (SDLC), change management, and quality assurance.
- Ensure applications are secure, reliable, and optimized for performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored application solutions.
- Ensure all applications comply with enterprise policies, industry regulations, and security standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for application systems, including architecture, configurations, and processes.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs) for third-party applications.
- Partner with department leaders to understand business needs and align application solutions accordingly.
- Drive process improvements through automation and application enhancements.
- Ensure effective communication and training for end-users on application functionality.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field experience.
- 10+ years of experience in application development, implementation, and management.
- Strong understanding of application architectures, SDLC, and modern development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
- Experience with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
- Proficiency in managing cloud-based applications and integrations (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS).
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- On-time delivery of application projects.
- Application uptime and reliability metrics.
- User satisfaction and adoption rates for deployed applications.

Estimated starting annual base salary pay ranges is $145,000.00 - $165,000.00, less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances.
