- Identifies IT business goals, objectives, and business environment requirements.
- Monitors IT performance and delivery indicators.
- Contributes and supports planning, budgeting, design, implementation, operation, or maintenance of IT landscapes.
- Supports customization and specifications of modules and applications and facilitates IT management processes.
- Advice business accountable management of the unit in all IT-related issues across the value chain or under specific circumstances.
- Implements IT programs and procedures.
- May coordinate relevant unit and integration tests and design and document new processes.
- Communicates with vendors and service providers on an accountable level to solve principal local IT problems or cooperate with centralized IT.
- Drives principle IT change projects on-site or in the region.
- Supports change-release processes and implementation of IT security guidelines.
- Manages complex IT installations and updates and completes integration to the communication network.
- Identifies IT problems and seeks resolutions without impacting the end user.
- May perform 2nd-level user help desk activities, individual coaching, and training and be involved in end-user engagement.
- Keeps abreast of developments in the industry regarding IT trends and technologies.
- Typically reports to an IT Manager or Team Leader.
- Expected to adapt existing concepts and methodologies in order to create and open up new ways of approaching and fulfilling specific internal and external client requests or project requirements.
- They integrate analysis, development, testing, and implementation.
- They interpret and functionally influence policy and guidelines in their area of business/technology and develop processes and systems to deliver functional objectives.
- They typically plan their work according to targets agreed upon, within a quarterly up to an annual cycle, by integrating resources in a project-driven environment.
- They provide functional advice and guidance to colleagues and customers.
- Transfers and applies know-how to/in various contexts.
- Improves existing processes and approaches.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

- Minimum of 8 years experience in information technology.
