What You'll do:

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect Data Scientist with a diverse technical background and demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering solutions that drive winning proposals for new and re-compete business pursuits, capture activities, and proposal efforts. As part of the Growth business unit, you will lead the solutioning for high-profile, enterprise-scale opportunities. This role requires a deep understanding of Groundswell's capabilities, which you will combine with cutting-edge technologies to develop comprehensive solutions that solve customer challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather goals and objectives, identify gaps, and develop differentiated solutions that address mission needs.

  • Support enterprise-wide growth strategies and initiatives aimed at service and delivery differentiation, increased competitiveness, and industry thought leadership.

  • Research and understand technology trends in areas such as agile software development, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), data analytics, systems engineering, digital engineering, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity. Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) in these domains to design, develop, and support integrated solutions for federal clients.

  • Develop technical content for proposals, requests for information (RFI), white papers, and related materials to support government solicitations and conferences.

  • Conduct product and capability demonstrations for customers and industry partners as needed.

  • Provide technical input and mission perspective to inform sector and corporate strategies and investments.

  • Conceptualize, develop, communicate, and propose solutions that will drive organizational growth and deliver measurable top- and bottom-line results.

  • Define total systems design and technology maturity constraints in accordance with mission requirements, develop system element architecture and design, and define implementation approaches and operational concepts in collaboration with SMEs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated experience developing and solutioning for winning proposals for new and re-compete pursuits, capture activities, and proposal efforts (minimum of 5 years required).

  • Strong technical writing skills with the ability to lead and author technical solution sections of proposals and responses to RFPs and RFIs.

  • Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Palantir, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, and SAS.

  • Proficient in programming languages like Python, R, and SQL.

  • Expertise in machine learning algorithms and techniques.

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake technologies such as Databricks.

  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

  • Proven experience leading and authoring portions of technical and/or management volumes of large proposals for the Federal Government.

  • Ability to grasp technical details from SMEs and integrate relevant aspects into comprehensive solutions. Skilled at identifying strengths, weaknesses, and gaps in technical solutions presented by SMEs or vendors.

  • Awareness or expertise in systems engineering and integration, digital engineering, agile development, DevSecOps, software architecture, cloud computing, data analytics, AI/ML, and cybersecurity.

  • Experience working front-end solutioning with clients, including assessing needs from requirements (SOW, SOO, PWS, etc.), determining key client needs, and building strong relationships.

  • Leadership skills to manage and guide cross-functional teams and P&L teams in proposing and implementing innovative solutions.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including exceptional presentation skills and experience interacting with executive and senior management.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal government security clearance.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 5%).

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$103,327.00 - $182,983.00
