Duties are to perform day-to-day system operations and routine preventive and corrective maintenance of multi-facility infrastructures with specific focus on mechanical systems and equipment.
Assist with monitoring systems of critical environment operations. Operate, diagnose, analyze and repair industrial HVAC equipment. Also, monitor and maintain Heating hot-water boilers, chillers, air handling units, VAV systems, hydronic systems, air compressors, air dryers and exhaust ventilation. At the direction of supervisor, maintain equipment such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and hot water systems. Monitors operation, adjusts, and maintains refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; ventilating and hot water heaters; pumps, valves, piping and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment; record readings and make adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment. Receive and execute work orders through Trireme for preventative and corrective maintenance on facility systems and building physical structure. Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns. Comply with departmental policy for the safe driving practices. Maintain a clean and safe workplace. | |
