The University of Southern California (USC) Leonard Davis School of Gerontology is seeking an MIS Manager to join our staff and student community. This role is responsible for supervising staff and operations of a computing services department that provides support and service for university and/or department-wide systems and users. The position requires specialized technical expertise and is responsible for staff supervision, budget development and administration, short- and long-term planning, and quality assurance. The MIS Manager ensures the efficient delivery of one or more IT functions and capabilities. Key responsibilities include:

Reporting Structure: This position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting the university's technology needs while working within a dynamic academic environment. Preferred Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess at minimum a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related area, and at least 5 years of experience managing hardware and software (Apple OS and Windows OS serves and computers). Experience working in the higher education field is ideal. This is an exempt position with work expected in the Andrus Gerontology Center from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM during normal hours of operation and after hours and on weekends as needed. Some travel for training and conferences to maintain skills and knowledge is required. The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000-$120,000.
