Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Keeping equipment fueled and cleaned at all times Reporting any and all accidents immediately Reporting any deficiencies with the equipment Unloading trucks in a safe and efficient manner Pulling parts and distributing to the appropriate area Loading materials into vehicles and installing strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools Other tasks or duties as may be assigned by supervisor Greeting all inbound/outbound drivers for all freight delivery and pickups Unloading and loading according to company procedures Visually inspecting all incoming freight before unloading, noting obvious damage or exceptions on the driver's delivery receipt, utilizing the driver as a witness Comparing inbound pack list and delivery receipt to delivered freight and match to company purchase order Noting concealed damage or counting variances in the Purchase Order and packing list Notifying supervisor immediately of any exceptions and securing supervisor's signature (per supervisor's inspection) on the Purchase Order Informing the Purchasing Agent named on the Purchase order of all exceptions Utilizing material handling equipment to unload/load all trucks in a safe and efficient manner Supporting the manufacturing process with safe material handling Maintaining the receiving dock, outdoor storage and warehouse storage area to utilize space, ensure inventory accuracy and keep areas safe and clear Responsible for representing Kalyn Siebert in a professional manner when dealing with all inbound and outbound drivers Perform other duties as assigned.
