Description This is a casual position working 12-hour varied shifts generally from 8am-8:30pm, ideally one day per week. One weekend per month required. We are an extremely busy Urgent Care, conveniently located near the coast off I-5 and the 78. We are a high functioning Urgent Care where all of our providers and RNs come from an emergency room background. We provide high quality care for our North County community and inland areas efficiently and effectively. What you'll do: Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice. Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting. Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing Active California RN license American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS Healthcare Provider Certifications Be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of recent adult emergency services experience Bachelor's degree in nursing CEN - Certified Emergency Nursing Recent and/or extensive ED experience as an RN Job : RN Primary Location : Northern San Diego County-OCEANSIDE-SCMC 78/Jefferson Work Locations : SCMC 78/Jefferson 2205 Vista Way Oceanside 92054 Organization : Scripps Coastal Medical Center Job Posting : Jan 25, 2025, 12:11:27 AM Benefit Status : CA - CASUAL Minimum Rate (USD) : 58.00 - Maximum Rate (USD) : 84.00 In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Scripps Health posts the pay range for all jobs.
