About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Surveyor II in Spokane or Coeur d'Alene to lead field-focused projects, collaborate with professional surveyors, and deliver high-quality results. You should have experience with roadway improvements, boundary work, utility networks, construction layout, and topographic mapping.

You Will:

  • Perform field surveying tasks, including control networks, topographic surveys, construction staking, level loops, monument recovery, and as-built surveys.
  • Plan and execute daily fieldwork while maintaining project schedules and budgets.
  • Utilize field-to-finish capabilities, including Leica equipment and related software (preferred).
  • Collaborate with professional surveyors to produce high-quality deliverables.
  • Engage in boundary work, roadway and interchange improvements, utility networks, and topographic mapping projects.
  • Operate independently as a one-person crew or work with larger teams.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Surveyor with relevant fieldwork expertise.
  • Proficiency in control networks, construction staking, monument recovery, and topographic/as-built surveys.
  • Familiarity with field and office software, including Leica equipment (preferred).
  • UAV/scanning experience is desirable but can be developed on the job.

Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $29-$35/hour.

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
