Position Close Date: 02/08/2025 ***Applicants must upload a resume and cover letter to their application in order to be considered for this opportunity.*** Position Summary The Communications Coordinator (CC) works with the Communications Director (CD) to coordinate the internal and external aspects of communications and related marketing. This includes media, public relations, and branding activities for VOA Oregon, resulting in a high level of visibility that is designed to generate organizational awareness, increased fundraising and volunteer engagement, program growth, and enhanced positive recognition for the organization. The CC will help advance VOA Oregon's mission, programs, and services and the communications strategy through the website, integrated direct and email-based communication strategies, social media, and general communications and marketing initiatives. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position; Monday thru Friday, 40 hours per week, generally from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasionally works extended schedule to include evenings and weekends as needed for events.
