What they will do Under general supervision, to install, test, alter, repair, place and maintain Security systems and equipment; to plan, schedule, monitor and/or perform preventive maintenance (PM) operations activities and PM maintenance including repair, maintenance and installation of Card Access Control; to perform related work as required. How they will do it
Work shift hours and respond to all requests for service and corrective action 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, including holidays, full time on site of PM account site. O&M Specialist is dispatched, as applicable to respond to calls for service. Will be responsible for, but not limited to, hardware PM's and corrective maintenance coverage includes inspection, troubleshooting, adjustment, and replacement and/or repair of parts covered under the terms of the PM contract agreement. Position requires knowledge of current electrical codes; thorough knowledge of electronic principles, theory, troubleshooting, repair and construction techniques and applications; knowledge of network systems, intercom, power supplies, relays, and electrical systems; knowledge of applicable safety hazards, practices and precautions involving driving on the site and building electrical work. Ability to use hand and power tools and test equipment such as multi-meters, battery analyzers, and communication devices as required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Licenses, Certificates and Other
Possession of a current and appropriate Nevada driver's license and an acceptable driving record. Obtain a movement area badge within the first six months of appointment. Obtain a certificate of successful completion of a required airport Badging class within the first week of appointment. Obtain a certificate of successful completion of CBP seal within the first two weeks of appointment.
