Operational Compliance Department

The Standards and Certifications Team, within the Operational Compliance Department is responsible for the management systems and policy frameworks that support a range of international (ISO) and industry standards certifications and accreditations through the achievement of operational excellence across our global sites. The team is ultimately responsible for ensuring that operational activities undertaken globally are completed according to relevant legislation, regulations, contractual requirements and industry best practice in order to maintain the standards, certifications and accreditations that the company holds.

Position Overview

This role can be based in Santa Clara, CA. or Phoenix, AZ. in alignment with our flexible work policy (3 days in office, 2 days flexible).

Vantage is seeking an experienced Assurance Manager to lead and coordinate a range of assurance and audit activities that support our operational compliance program. While this role will be based in North America, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the global operational compliance team and will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our global compliance goals. This role requires a strong background in audit and assurance practices, particularly within the context of ISO standards, PCI DSS, and SOC assessments.

Essential Job Functions

Internal Audits:

  • Plan, schedule, and execute internal audits across a range of ISO standards at various sites across North America.

Operational Site Preparation:

  • Collaborate with internal departments to prepare new operational sites for external ISO certifications.

External Audit Support:

  • Work with internal teams to collect, organize, and submit evidence to external auditors in support of our annual ISO, PCI DSS, and SOC assessments.

Corrective Actions Management:

  • Ensure the timely closure of corrective actions by control and action owners, driving continuous improvement as a result

Documentation and Policy Management:

  • Update and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures relating to the Integrated Management System (IMS).

Communication and Training:

  • Communicate relevant policy, procedure, and process updates to colleagues across the organization.

  • Provide support to colleagues with document management and control processes.

Additional Duties:

  • Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related field or equivalent experience or relevant certifications. (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor, CISA, etc.) is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in audit, assurance, or compliance management, preferably within the data center or technology industry.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Knowledge and experience of coordinating audits to defined standards, projects and actions across a number of geographical different sites.

  • Experience working with ISO Standards, particularly ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001 and 27001 is highly desirable

  • Ability to communicate and influence a variety of stakeholders across different departments and geographies.

  • Highly organised, articulate and with the ability to work using your own initiative.

  • Fluent communicator in English

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

  • Travel required is expected to be up to 20% but may increase over time as the business evolves.

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
