In the role of Senior Cultural Resource Specialist, we'll count on you to: * Take responsibility for assessment, preparation of documents, reports, and findings for archaeological surveys and monitoring projects * Participate in the development of mitigative treatment plans * Develop and monitor tasks, schedules, and cost estimates, and assess applicable requirements and processes for all cultural resource projects * Conduct survey, monitoring, and data recovery fieldwork * Participate in project meetings and assist with agency coordination * Develop project proposals * Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization * Supervise a small-to-medium staff of professionals and technicians, as needed * Serve as Project Manager on selected projects, as needed * Perform other duties, as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, Architectural History or closely related field A minimum of 10 years Archaeological experience, a minimum of 5 years experience in planning, managing and executing archeological investigations Experience with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel Proven ability to manage multiple field crews Excellent communication and client interaction skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Requires ability to travel Successful candidates must be familiar with field study design and documentation, regulatory framework for cultural resource management, and GIS utilities Must be able to handle cultural resources in a variety of geographic settings throughout the US An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
