Description
Qualifications:
- Three-six months housekeeping experience preferred.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and speak basic English for purposes of carrying out and communicating job duties.
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions.
License Requirements: Must secure appropriate RI mandated gaming licenses Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for the cleaning of all assigned public casino areas, restrooms, and offices throughout the entire casino complex on a continual basis.
- Ensure that all cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment are used per the manufacturer's instructions.
- Ensure housekeeping equipment is free of safety violations; reports any hazardous conditions or broken equipment immediately to Executive Housekeeper.
- Responsible for complying with established safety precautions when using equipment and supplies.
- Interact with guests and fellow team members in a professional and courteous manner.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Constant standing; walking; using hand to finger; handling or feeling objects, tools or controls; reaching with hands and arms; talking or hearing.
- Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Occasionally sitting, climbing, or balancing; lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs.
- Constantly required to talk; hear; stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Constantly requires specific vision of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Working Conditions:
- Work with or near moving mechanical parts.
- Exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, smoke, extreme cold, risk of electrical shock and vibration.
- Occasionally work in outside weather conditions.
- Work environment noise level is usually loud.
