Altaflex, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician. This individual is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment used in the production of flexible printed circuits. They will also troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards. In addition, they will perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in the manufacturing process. This individual will dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. They will use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers. This individual will perform preventative maintenance service and repairs of manufacturing equipment and support systems installing equipment such as chillers, vacuums, pumps, heaters, wet scrubbers and monitor controls, as needed.


Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance program.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly equipment and facility inspections.

  • Ensure all machinery and equipment comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Lead, train, and mentor junior maintenance technicians.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to optimize machine performance.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and manage corrective actions.
  • Assist in the procurement of maintenance supplies and spare parts.

  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Must have excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and priorities work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven leadership experience in a maintenance role.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
