HX5 is currently seeking a Facilities Integration Lead supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The Facilities Integration Lead is a senior SME with a proven understanding of customer requirements and knowledge of what skills and resources will be needed to meet those requirements. This role assists the Stakeholder Task & Integration Manager (STIM) in overseeing and leading the Facilities Operations and Maintenance department (FOM) which consists of facilities engineers and technicians who provide 24x7 facilities maintenance services for a 600,000+ square foot facility on Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Control Account Manager (CAM) for multiple control accounts associated with the task order.
  • Prepares monthly deliverable documents and provides task order status updates.
  • Manages subcontracts including statement of work preparation and receipt of deliverables
  • Prepares incident reports as needed
  • Serves as a liaison to facilities design engineers, providing inputs on engineering operations as needed
  • Tracks contractual requirements to completion
  • Assists in proposal development for contract growth
  • Responds to customer inquiries
  • Works with Facilities Engineers to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes of failures and mitigation strategies
  • Oversees Preventative Maintenance optimization and work order backlog reduction effort
  • Performs additional related tasks as needed/directed by the STIM

Education andExperience:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and ten (10) years of general experience
  • Master's degree and eight (8) years of general experience
  • Must have two (2) years of experience in management or leadership roles
  • Must have a background working in facilities engineering, facilities maintenance, or facilities design.
  • Must have experience working with customers in a government setting
  • Must have experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail
  • Must be willing to take on new challenges and learn new skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written).

Preferences:

  • Proficient use of computer systems and software applications including Maximo, Remedy & Microsoft Outlook.
  • Experience working as a facilities maintenance or reliability engineer
  • Experience working with project finances (budgets, variances, projections, etc.)

Other Position Requirements:

  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance by date of hire.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is between $119,000 - $144,000, annually, based on experience.
