Application Window Open date: January 22, 2025 Next review date: Saturday, Feb 22, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Mar 28, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence Research (A2IR) as part of the UCI Institute for Precision Health is seeking a postdoctoral candidate in machine learning and deep learning applied to high-dimensional medical datasets. A2IR is a multi-specialty collaborative initiative to develop and integrate artificial intelligence technology across the UCI healthcare system. Responsibilities: A successful candidate will act as a senior data scientist to develop, implement, and validate novel machine learning methods applied to high-dimensional medical datasets including images, videos, sound, and/or other time-series information. Additional responsibilities include facilitating machine learning IT operations (MLOps) such as maintenance of various compute environments and model deployments. Academic duties will include the preparation of abstracts, manuscripts, presentations, and grants, as well as teaching and working with trainees of various levels.
