About the Opportunity

DMI is currently seeking a full time Financial Analyst Lead to provide operational leadership to a team of 350+ person critical IT infrastructure operations contract for a high visibility Federal Government customer on a fast-paced and rewarding contract in the DC metro area.

As the Financial Analyst Lead, you will be the right hand to the Program Manager, ensure the management and administration of the program is smooth and on-time. You will support ad-hoc and special projects driven by the dynamic nature of our mission critical customer. You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and grow in your Project and Program Management career.

Roles and Responsibilities:

    Manage program financial reporting and forecasting to include burn rate, estimated profit/loss.
  • Review and validate subcontractor and employee timesheets.
  • Act as the team liaison to corporate support functions such as HR, Recruiting, and Finance.
  • Coordinate and prepare routine program-level reports and deliverables, such as Monthly Status Report and PTO reports.
  • Serve as the Project Manager for special projects in support of unique customer requirements.
  • Foster formal and informal communication networks between the customer and the team to facilitate close collaboration and working relationships.
  • Coordinate with program managers to create business and staffing plans.
  • Ensure team maintains close attention to detail, sense of urgency, and mission focus in service delivery.
  • Serve as a primary source of knowledge on project contract and modifications.
  • Serve as a Microsoft Excel SME, supporting anyone across the project who may request support.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in highly political and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and lead team in accomplishment of multiple simultaneous complex activities.
  • Self-starter, willing to take initiative, learn, and fill in the gaps to ensure the team and mission is taken care of.
  • Excellent client relationship skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Available to support customer and team 24x7x365.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • 5-7 years of directly related experience required.

Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Financial management experience.
  • Experience as a customer advocate.
  • Experience with conflict mediation.
  • Experience with SharePoint site administration.
  • Technical background in IT infrastructure services and technology.
  • PMI certification
  • ITIL v4 Foundations certification
