Responsibilities and Key Deliverables/Results:

* Develop Sales Strategy: Create and execute comprehensive strategies and plans to achieve new business sales goals, aligned with Dontech's long-term strategic growth targets.

* Team Building & Management: Hire, onboard, and manage a team of high-performing manufacturer representatives and sales support personnel, ensuring continuous training and development.

* Sales Process Oversight: Lead weekly pre-call planning and post-call review sessions with your team to refine sales tactics and improve conversion rates.

* Relationship Building: Cultivate and manage relationships with key customers, ensuring a robust and sustainable opportunity funnel.

* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and technical teams to translate customer needs into innovative, high-value solutions.

Skills Required for the Position:

* Strategic Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in designing and implementing complex selling strategies for technical products and services.

* Long-Cycle Sales Experience: Proficient in managing long, complex sales cycles with a consultative selling approach.

* Technical Acumen: Strong technical background to accurately understand customer requirements and collaborate effectively with internal technical teams.

* Consultative Selling: Expertise in selling custom-designed solutions in sectors such as military, aerospace, avionics, and medical instrumentation.

* Travel Experience: Proven ability to handle domestic and international travel as part of your role.

* Sales Systems Expertise: Experience in building, scaling, and refining sales department systems and processes.

* Proven Track Record: Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

* Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years at a small to midsized company manufacturing custom products for the military, aerospace, avionics, or medical instrumentation markets.
