Objective/Overview The Dental Director provides overall vision, leadership, and management of CUHCC's Dental Department and Dental Training programs. The Dental Director is responsible for developing and monitoring performance on annual quality, productivity, and budget objectives. As a part of CUHCC's Leadership Team, the Dental Director works closely with other areas to ensure integrated care, optimal patient access and outcomes, and inter-professional education. As clinical providers, dentists participate on quality improvement projects and serve on other CUHCC committees as designated. CUHCC dentists must provide respectful care to diverse populations and be able to meet the productivity and quality measures established by the clinic. This will require each dentist to utilize multiple chairs simultaneously and collaborate with other members of the oral health care team. Reporting Relationships: This position supervises all dental students/residents, dentists, dental therapists, dental hygienists, and works closely and collaboratively with the Dental Clinic Manager. This position reports to the CMO/CEO. Essential Functions
