AMSOIL INC., a global leader in synthetic lubricants, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics team in Superior, WI. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting both domestic and international logistics operations. As the Logistics Coordinator, you will provide essential logistics support, including managing inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating transportation, and ensuring timely deliveries. You'll work with a variety of carriers and freight forwarders while ensuring compliance with international shipping requirements and industry regulations. This position is integral in maintaining the smooth flow of operations within AMSOIL, both domestically and internationally.

Core Responsibilities:

International Shipping Support



  • Obtain quotes, select freight forwarders and carriers, and ensure on-time delivery of international orders.
  • Generate commercial shipping documents, ensuring customs compliance and avoiding delays.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all international shipment activities and provide updates during weekly sales meetings.


Bulk Fluid Shipments



  • Coordinate bulk fluid shipments from Superior, WI, and other locations, ensuring the right equipment is used for loading and unloading.
  • Work with bulk carriers to train and enforce adherence to customer-specific procedures.


Inbound & Outbound Shipments



  • Support procurement for inbound bulk raw materials and chemicals.
  • Coordinate inventory replenishment and outbound shipments for international distribution partners, including those in Dubai and the Netherlands.


Transportation Scheduling



  • Collaborate with TL and intermodal carriers for weekly inventory transfer schedules to remote distribution centers.
  • Provide required documentation (BOL, orders, packing lists) to warehouse teams as needed.


HAZMAT Compliance



  • Advise and train internal teams on hazardous materials shipping requirements and maintain HAZMAT certification.


Internal & External Communication



  • Work with internal departments, transportation carriers, and 3PL partners to ensure timely and efficient logistics operations.


Position Requirements:



  • Bachelor's or Associate degree (preferred in logistics, supply chain, or a related field).
  • 3-4 years of experience in logistics, shipping, and distribution (domestic and international), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • HAZMAT certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations, including Incoterms and customs.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
  • Basic accounting knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Work Environment:



  • Work will be performed in an office environment with occasional exposure to warehouse settings, including forklift traffic.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, perform computer-based tasks, and lift up to 50 lbs.


Other Details:



  • Pay type - Hourly
  • Pay Range - $25.67 to $30.19 depending on experience
