Maintenance Assistant

Assist with the repair, maintenance, and operation of the building mechanical systems for assigned campus, according to established procedures.

Perform minor maintenance activities such as light bulb changes, filter replacements, and drain cleaning.

Maintain equipment lubrication and may be required to perform minor fabrications.

Assist in the maintenance and/or repair of various plumbing and electrical systems.

Safety-coats all piping and equipment throughout the campus.

Maintain all equipment in the facility in a clean and orderly manner at all times.

Assist with snow and ice removal.

Require demonstrated ability to work on one's own initiative with general supervision.

Require demonstrated ability to interact effectively with others.

Require demonstrated mechanical aptitude, with education, training or experience related to large A/C or boilers including general maintenance and electrical systems preferred.

Ability to move heavy (50 pounds) objects.
