MacDonald-Miller not only constructs revolutionary mechanical systems but provides customer-centric ongoing services to ensure building owners, property managers, and tenants enjoy their experience in the built environment. One facet of MacDonald-Miller's on-going services is Smart Building Services.

Smart Building Services primary role is the deployment of data analytics systems and the management of the collected data. Leveraging analytics tools and industry experience MacDonald-Miller transforms data into digestible and actionable business intelligence for our customers. The Smart Building Analyst role acts as the primary facilitator of analysis and communication with existing and new customers.

Recruiter: This is where you come in.

We're searching for a dynamic Recruiter to lead our efforts in attracting and retaining top-tier talent. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with hiring managers to manage the full-cycle recruitment process and play a pivotal part in ensuring we bring in exceptional individuals who embody MacDonald-Miller's core values. You'll also attend weekly progress meetings to align with the team, share insights, and strategize for success. As a relationship-focused recruiter, you'll take pride in developing meaningful connections and building a pipeline of talent for today and tomorrow. Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Own the sourcing, interviewing, and hiring process for a wide range of roles, from skilled trades to corporate positions.
  • Compelling Job Advertisements: Create job postings that effectively communicate our Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and attract top talent.
  • Talent Sourcing: Proactively source and engage passive candidates through platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and industry networks.
  • Employer Branding: Represent MacDonald-Miller at career fairs, university events, and industry meetups to enhance our brand and attract the best candidates.
  • Candidate Experience: Provide a seamless, professional experience for candidates from the first touchpoint through onboarding.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with hiring managers to refine job descriptions, develop recruitment strategies, and provide ongoing updates.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to continuously improve hiring processes and outcomes.

The Recruiter reports to Susan Goodwin, Recruiting Manager, and works as part of a collaborative team driving initiatives to support our growing business. This high-impact role offers significant visibility and involves interaction with all levels and functions across the organization.

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?

You should have...

  • Experience: 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or related industries.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Organization: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter. Workable is a plus.
  • Passion: A commitment to finding the best talent and contributing to MacDonald-Miller's mission.

Compensation:

  • Recruiter - (3 to 5 years of experience) - $78K to $90K Annually
  • Sr. Recruiter - (6 to 10 years of experience) $90K to $115K Annually
