Department Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated intern to join our team as a Digital Workplace and Site Services Intern. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our organization's digital transformation journey and support the Site Services team in maintaining a great place to work. You will collaborate with various departments to enhance our digital infrastructure, streamline processes, improve employee engagement, and assist in creating a positive and productive work environment. This internship will provide invaluable hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative work environment.

This internship position is located in Pleasanton, California, On-site.

The Opportunity

• Assist in the development and execution of digital workplace goals, strategies, and initiatives.

• Build/ Update a standard web page as a platform to inform and guide users to understand various services offered by the organization.

• Conduct research and analysis to gather insights on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to digital workplace solutions.

• Support the implementation of digital tools including collection and maintenance of data.

• Identify areas for continuous improvement and make recommendations to optimize digital workplace processes, site services, and employee experience.

Program Highlights

• Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.

• Program start dates are in May/June (Summer)

• A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.

• Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

• Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.

Who You Are (Required)

Required Education. You meet one of the following criteria:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).

Required Majors: Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Facilities Management, or a related field.

Required Skills:

• Experience working with Java Script and/or Linux.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $45 an hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
