We are seeking a Lead Housing Search Specialist who will be responsible for supervising the Housing Search Specialist team and leading the team to provide secure housing opportunities. Responsibilities also include providing community advocacy and outreach to families, partners and the community to increase awareness of CTI's HCEC programs and to support the team with housing and stability efforts.

Essential Functions but Not Limited to:



  • Supervise Housing Search Specialists. Ensure appropriate orientation, supervision and training of staff.
  • Provide housing search to support the team with overflow
  • Work with the Supervisor to develop a comprehensive listing of property owners and property management companies in order to build and maintain working relationships to yield housing opportunities for clients.
  • In coordination with the Supervisor, track, implement and submit monthly data as to outputs and outcomes.
  • Support the team with stabilization efforts and when necessary, facilitate touchpoints and home visits.
  • Coordinate interactions with the Shelter onsite case managers to ensure a seamless connection to the resources and service providers
  • Maintain high standards of program quality assurance and provide quality assurance oversight within HCEC housing search team.
  • Uphold the values of CTI - Equity, Integrity, Compassion.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Strong knowledge of housing search techniques.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in case management work in a human service field preferred.
  • HS or equivalent preferred
  • Experience working with low-income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families. Sensitivity to the needs of the participant population.
  • Knowledge of community resources available to low-income individuals and families.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer software and data collection.
  • Excellent crisis management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel to client's homes to perform home visits when needed.
  • Dependable transportation and ability to travel to other sites, meetings, agencies, and providers.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish, English/Khmer, English/Portuguese) preferred.
