Position Title: Tax Support Specialist Employment Type: Part-Time (20-30 hours per week) Overview: Our client is seeking a highly organized and efficient Tax Support Specialist to assist their tax team during the busy tax season. This role involves scheduling client appointments, managing communication, and supporting various tax-related administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and confirm tax appointments with clients. Answer client inquiries, route calls to appropriate team members, and maintain excellent customer service. Prepare and mail completed tax returns to clients. Assign e-filing tasks to team members and keep E-File records up-to-date with relevant client information. Assist with extension-related tasks, including reaching out to clients and distributing vouchers via mail or email. Support clients during appointments by preparing documents and making copies as needed. Qualifications: Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, ideally in tax or financial services. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with office equipment. Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
