Pay Rate: 30-35 per hour based of experience.

Required:
preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to machinery and e/m equipment. Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Location: Westbury NY.

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facility. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to machinery critical to our production processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, pneumatic. experience in PLC systems and welding considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Will perform the maintenance, repair, installation and troubleshooting of processing equipment.
  • Address emergency repairs during production and execute scheduled maintenance during machine service intervals.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and filter replacements for dust collectors and other critical systems.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to carry out maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records using the company's CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Manage inventory, order parts, and ensure adequate stocking of supplies and critical components.
  • Execute regular preventive maintenance for machinery, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment during repairs and maintenance.
  • Report defective materials, faulty operations, and other irregularities to supervisors promptly.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
  • Support and collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, such as DMMs, and hands-on experience with shop tools.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems and welding techniques would be a bonus.



The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
