Job Summary:

The Billing Associate will play a fundamental role in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing to our customer base. You must be comfortable working with multiple departments, working with customers, generating accurate invoices, and managing your email as well as team email inbox. This role reports to the Billing Manager.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently process sales into invoices to be sent to customers
  • Manage personal and team email inbox
  • Work with other internal departments (Sales Ops, Project Managers & AR) to ensure timely invoicing occurs
  • for revenue recognition purposes
  • Research and understand our billing and sales operations procedures so that you may assist any customer inquiries or disputes
  • Participate in weekly meetings to discuss benchmarks and personal as well as team goals for the upcoming week
  • Maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information so it is readily accessible for reference and to answer questions
  • Ensure we have accurate data in our CRM
  • Consistently integrates Allbridge's core values into their everyday habits by treating all customers, internal and external, professionally, honestly and respectfully
  • Accepts ownership and accountability of position responsibilities and strives to deliver results for customers thatestablish high standards, credibility and quality performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business. In lieu of a degree, must have 5 years of corporate billing experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a billing role in a corporate environment
  • Strong communication skills, including writing and active listening
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Salesforce and NetSuite experience is a plus
  • Experience with government billing a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with customers and colleagues
  • High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team

  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Must be energetic, positive, and organized
  • Impressive personality and ability to convince the clients by planning attractive quotations for them
  • Creative thinker and should have ability to resolve critical problems
