Responsibilities

The Supervisor Radiology- Ultrasound provides leadership, supervision and coordinates department activities, ensuring safety to both patients and staff. Directs all human resource functions of the department with include; overseeing training and ensures staff competencies, ensures safe staffing levels. Develops and manages budget to meet department, meets organizational and patient safety goals and ensures regulatory compliance. The Supervisor Radiology- Ultrasound ensures ongoing monitoring of departmental indicators and PI activities, reports activities as directed. The Supervisor Radiology- Ultrasound responds to the needs of the department by performing radiology technologist duties when needed.



Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program.

2. Minimum of 1 year as a Supervisor preferred

3. Supervisory experience in all medical imaging functions preferred.

4. Previous experience as an Ultrasound Tech/other modality.

5. Strong verbal and written skills preferred.

6. ARDMS required.

7. Current BLS (AHA) certificate required

8. Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards required.

9. Sexual Harassment training within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $34.50 to $46.43. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
