POSITION TITLE: Team Leader - Weekend Shift - Friday through Sunday 6:3am-7:00pm

POSTING PERIOD: January 17, 2025 through January 31, 2025 (5pm)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of Daimler products and systems and a thorough working knowledge of the designated work area process.
  • Capable of interpreting work instructions and bills of materials.
  • Capable of diagnosing, developing and implementing practical solutions utilizing Lean concepts to area issues. Able to communicate issues to responsible areas (Materials, Quality, Packaging Lab, I.T., etc.).
  • Capable of accurate data collection, ability to identify trends and propose potential solutions to problems.
  • Demonstrate Leadership. Remain energetic and motivated.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of operations within the team. Able to train, coach, and mentor employees.
  • Will be assigned to specific work groups.
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions in the KPP department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates must have an excellent attendance record.
  • At least two years progressive warehouse experience with demonstrated leadership capability.
  • Must possess strong leadership, positive attitude, interpersonal and communication skills as well as ability to problem solve and analyze data/information.
  • Willingness to accept responsibility and work closely with management a must.
  • Demonstrated record of developing and implementing suggestions as well as regular use of other TOS tools.
  • Demonstrated record of superior work performance and will be expected to work closely with management.
  • In-depth knowledge of IMS/DView or demonstrated ability to learn the system.
  • Dedicated to learning lean/continuous improvement concepts and applying them to the day-to-day operation.
